Research and Development
Here are some examples of researches now we WatanabeSato is undertaking. For the efficient use of resources for researches, we are positive to accept cooperative study with materials producers or other contractors.

Remarks
Study on lowering of mixing temperature of HMAThe mixing temperature is specified to be within the range of 150-170 degree from quite old days. Now that the performances of mixing plant and pavers or so on are improved, we are studying the possibility of lowering the mixing and paving temperature for minimizing the emission of carbon oxides.
Study on shock absorbing pavement, using "Pave-tex"Cooperating with Japan Highway Corporation and TOA Road Co., Ltd., we are invested the applicability of "Pave-tex" for pavements in tunnels in snowy districts in order to mitigate the fracture of tire chains in tunnel section during 1996-1997. This "Pave-tex" is a 6 mm depth carpet like textile infiltrated with resin and was applied at the tunnel of Ishiuch tunnel of Kanetsu expressway for evaluation of the effect in December in 1997. So far this pavement performed well.
Study on low-noise pavement using "Pave-tex""Pave-tex" has noise absorbing property due to its carpet like texture and prevent the generation of pumping noise between tire and pavement.
Now, co-operative research with Public Works Research Center is on-going using the pavement test course of Public Works Research Institute, Ministry of Construction.
