Freezing Restraint Pavment
(by elasticity of rubber grains)
NF-Top Type II
What is NF-Top Type II?
In contrast to NF-Top I which incorporate freezing retarder of mainly consisted of calcium chloride, NF-Top Type II is a special modified asphalt mixture which incorporates rubber grains in the mixture and has the funciton of fracturing the ices on road surface and scattering by the reaction between the elasticity of rubber grains and the load of running vehicle.
Functions
  1. By the reaction between the elasticity of rubber grains and the load running vehicle, the ices on road surface are fractured and scattered.
  2. Excellent at ravelling resistance.
  3. The rubber grains appeared on the surface of pavement enhance the skidding resistance.
  4. It has excellent flexibility. therefore cracks on pavement surface is hard to be generated.
Where to use?
Roads, plaza, workspaces in factories in snowy cold area

These excellent porperties are evidenced by the test results shown in Fig. 2 - Fig. 4.
